Why we built it

Most small service businesses run on messages. A client asks "are you free Saturday?", you scroll back through your notes, you agree a time, you hope they turn up. Somewhere in that chain a slot gets double-booked, a deposit never gets asked for, and a no-show costs you a day's work.

PocketBiz replaces that chain with one link. Your client picks a service, picks a free slot, pays a deposit, and the time is locked in your calendar before either of you types another message.

Who it's for

Caterers, barbers and mobile hairdressers, tutors, photographers, cleaners, dog groomers, personal trainers — anyone running the whole thing themselves from a phone. If your booking system is currently a notes app and a lot of goodwill, this is for you.

How we think about your money

Deposits go straight into your own Stripe account — we never hold your money. PocketBiz takes a 3% fee on deposits, shown to you before you connect anything. Setting up is free, and the free tier covers unlimited services and up to 500 bookings a month.

How we think about your data

Your client list is yours. We don't sell it, we don't market to it, and you can export it or have it deleted whenever you like. The details are in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Terms.
